Preseason Top 10

 Week 7  10/17 to 10/23 (Previous Rank) 1. Freehold Township (1) 15-1-0 - The Patriots accomplished goal number two of the season, winning the SCT for the second straight year by defeating Howell 1-0.  Now Freehold Township will be the team to beat as they defend CJG4. They will enter states with the #1 seed and face New Brunswick in the opening round. 2. Howell (2)  12-3-1 - Howell has had a remarkable season that only a few saw coming (Cough Cough). They gave the defending champs a hard game in the SCT Finals, but ultimately lost 1-0.  Howell has earned the 5th seed in CJG4 and will host division rival Marlboro in the opening round.  3. Point Boro (3) 13-2-0 - Point Boro's run in SCT ended in the semis against Howell in a hard fought 2-1 defeat.  The Panthers earned the 2nd seed in CJG2 and will look to make a run to the finals. They open up with Bround Brook and then face the Delaware Valley/Ocean Twp matchup. 4. Manalapan (6) 11-3-1 - Manalapan went 3-0 this week in tune up

 10/9 to 10/15 (Previous Rank) 1. Freehold Township (1) 13-1-0 - They are the best in the Shore and they are doing it without one of the best players in the state. Gabby Koluch does not get the accolades she deserves. She was NJ.com midseason defender of the year, she might be the midseason player of the year.  Freehold Twp. took care of Rumson 4-0, all 4 goals in the second half. Then they beat TRS 5-1 to advance to the SCT semis and face SJV on Wednesday at 630. If they win, they face winner of Howell/Point Boro Saturday in Neptune. 2. Howell (7) 11-2-1 - I said Howell would surprise people and they have but not me. They move onto the SCT semis by defeating St. Rose in the first round 3-0 and then defeated Manalapan 1-0 in the quarters. If they can beat Point Boro they will move on and most likely face Freehold Twp for the title. They played last week and even though they lost 3-0, they looked good against Freehold and had their fair share of chances. 3. Point Boro (8) 12-1-0 - Point

 Week 5 10/2 to 10/8 (Previous Week) 1. Freehold Township (1) 10-0-1 -Any surprise?  Light week only one game because Wall canceled. They defeated Howell 3-0 to wrap up A North. Next week they added Watchung Hills, who is always a tough opponent, for Monday and then winner of RFH and Matawan in SCT. 2. RBC (2) 8-2-0 - Defeated Monmouth Regional 6-1 and then had another dominant game against Wall, winning 5-1 to take care of A Central.  Next week they also added a very strong opponent outside of the Shore in Metuchen.  Later in the week they take on the winner of the Marlboro and Red Bank Regional game in the SCT. 3. Manalapan (5) 7-2-1 - They defeated Middletown North 5-0 early in the week and then ended the week by defeating a tough Rumson team 2-0. They have a bye first round and take on the winner of Lacey and Central Regional.  All three of those teams could be a threat to make it to the semis.  4. Middletown South (10) 7-3-1 - The Eagles keep rolling, defeating then ranked #3

Top 10 9/26 to 10/1 (Previous Weekend) 1. Freehold Township (1) 9-1-0 - The Patriots keep rolling. defeating Marlboro 5-0 and crushing Bridgewater-Raritan 7-0 in the Mountains Vs Sea Event.  This week they face off against division rival #3 Howell to decide the top spot in A North. They end the week with Wall. 2. RBC (2) 6-2-0 - RBC had a couple tough games this week and they did what great teams do, find a way to win. First they beat Rumson 1-0 early in the week and then beat Immaculata 4-3. They were trailing 3-1 in the late stages of the second half and scored 3 goals in 7 minutes to win. Busy week for the Casey's Monmouth Regional then tough games vs Wall and then against #4 Brick Memorial saturday. 3. Howell (3) 8-0-1 - Howell had a light week beating Freehold Boro 3-0. This week will be the tell tale if they can hang with the big dogs. Middletown South on Monday and if they win that game they face #1 Freehold for A North title on Thursday. 4.  Week 3 Top 10 9/18 to 9/25 (Previous Rank) 1.Freehold Township (1) 7-1-0- The Patriots dropped one in Maryland to Archbishop Spalding but came home and took care of North A rival Manalapan 4-0 and just got by Midd North. Saturday they got back on track beating Shore Regional 7-0. Next week they have divisional matchup against Marlboro and then Saturday they play in the Mountains vs Sea event against Bridgewater-Raritan.  2. RBC (2) 4-2-0 - RBC lost both in Maryland, but they don't get dinged for going out playing the best, it will only reward them when it means the most. They came back and beat Trinity Hall 1-0 and Shore Regional 3-0.  This week they have RFH and Saturday Mountains vs Sea against Immaculata. 3. Howell (6) 7-0-1 - First they defeated St. Rose in a very hard game 2-0 then defeated division rival Marlboro 2-1. They ended the week beating Brick Twp 2-1. This week they have Freehold Boro, Monmouth Regional and Toms River South. 4. Brick Memorial (4) 4-1-1 - Light week

Week 2 Top 10 9/11 to 9/18 (Last Week Rankings) 1. Freehold Township (1) 4-0-0 - The Patriots defeated cross town opponent Freehold Boro (1-4)  4-0 and are currently down in Maryland where they defeated McDonough 3-0.  Today they play Archbishop Spalding  to wrap up their trip and then play division rival #5 Manalapan, division opponent Middletown North and end the week with Shore Regional (1-3). 2. RBC (3) 2-1-0 - The Caseys defeated rival Holmdel (4-1) 5-1 this week before losing their first game in Maryland to Archbishop Spalding 4-0. They wrap up the tough Maryland trip with McDonogh today and then come home to face Trinity Hall and Shore Regional (1-3). 3. Middletown South (6) 3-1-1  - Three wins this week against good competition. First they defeated RFH (1-2-1) 2-1 then beat newly ranked #7 SJV (3-1) 3-0 and ended the week beating Toms River South (2-1-1) 2-0.
