9/18 to 9/25 (Previous Rank)

1.Freehold Township (1) 7-1-0- The Patriots dropped one in Maryland to Archbishop Spalding but came home and took care of North A rival Manalapan 4-0 and just got by Midd North. Saturday they got back on track beating Shore Regional 7-0. Next week they have divisional matchup against Marlboro and then Saturday they play in the Mountains vs Sea event against Bridgewater-Raritan. 

2. RBC (2) 4-2-0 - RBC lost both in Maryland, but they don't get dinged for going out playing the best, it will only reward them when it means the most. They came back and beat Trinity Hall 1-0 and Shore Regional 3-0.  This week they have RFH and Saturday Mountains vs Sea against Immaculata.

3. Howell (6) 7-0-1 - First they defeated St. Rose in a very hard game 2-0 then defeated division rival Marlboro 2-1. They ended the week beating Brick Twp 2-1. This week they have Freehold Boro, Monmouth Regional and Toms River South.

4. Brick Memorial (4) 4-1-1 - Light week only game was vs Brick Twp and they gave the Mustangs all they could handle. It took Brick Memorial double OT to pull off the 1-0 victory.  This week they play Central Regional Tuesday night that will impact who sits atop of A South. They end the week with Southern.

5. Manalapan (5) 5-1-1 - They dropped their rivalry game to #1Freehold Twp 4-0 but rebounded with a big win vs then ranked #3 Middletown South 2-1.  Next week they face Jackson Liberty and Saturday they also are in the Mountains vs Sea and face off against Watchung Hills. 

6. SJV (7) 4-1-1 - Could of dropped them for tying Matawan 1-1, but they rebounded nicely to end the week by defeating #10 TRN 2-1. This week they play Neptune and then Saturday they play Pingry in the Mountains vs Sea event.

7. Point Boro (9) 6-0-0 - They probably sealed the division by beating rival Jackson Liberty 2-0 and then added a 3-0 victory over Monmouth Regional.  Next week they face Donovan Catholic and Barnegat.

8. Wall (8) 5-1-0 - Wall went 3-0 this week first defeating Shore Regional 2-1 then Monmouth Regional 6-0.  Saturday they defeated Toms River East 1-0 in a hard fought game.  Busy week for Wall, they have Trinity Hall, Holmdel and Manasquan. They will look to stay perfect in A Central as they prepare for Rumson and RBC the following week. 

9. Central Regional (NR) 5-1-1 - Central Regional new to the top 10 this week keeps rolling along. They beat Barnegat 3-0, TRE 1-0 in a hard-fought game and then Donovan Catholic 3-0. Next week they face #4 Brick Memorial for top spot in A South and then another hard A South matchup against Jackson Memorial. 

10. TRN (10) 3-3-0 - They took care of Holmdel 4-1 early in the week and then defeated cross town rival Toms River South 1-0. Unfortunately ranked SJV defeated 2-1 on Saturday.  Busy week ahead against Toms River East, Brick Twp and then Mountains vs Sea against Hunterdon Central.

Bubble - 

Middletown South (3) 3-3-1 Tough week dropping two games to division rivals. Do not be surprised to see Midd South back in the Top 10.  They also play in the Mountains vs Sea this Saturday against Somerville.

Manasquan (NR) 6-2-0  They have two tough games this week vs Colts Neck and Wall. Winning those can get them into the top 10.

 Final Top 10 (Previous Ranking) 1. Freehold Twp (1) 21-1-0 - Started #1 and finished #1 is not an easy task, but they did it. Only defeat was outside NJ. They finished the revenge tour with the #1 ranking in NJ after winning Group 4 by defeating Ridgewood.   2. Manalapan (6) 15-4-1 - They were 7 minutes away from pulling off the upset of the year in the CJG4 title game, but this team has nothing to be disappointed in.  First year coach John Rogers did a great job and is returning a lot of key players next season. 3. Middletown South (5) 14-5-1 - Middletown South played such good soccer this season, even the games they lost they gave opponents tough games. They gave Freehold Twp a tough game opening day and went on to win CJG3.  4. Brick Memorial (8) 11-4-2 - After last year's disappointing loss in CJG3 semis, they were determined to make it to the finals this year and accomplished that, first time in a long time. They defeated TRN for the first time in almost 10 years and won

Preseason All Shore

Player of Year Candidates Madison DiEugenio - Senior TRN - Madison is looking to lead TRN to another deep run in the postseason. Last season she finished with 17 goals and 10 assists making her one of the best playmakers in the Shore Conference.  She can do it all on offense, making the right pass or getting free with fast footwork.   Ainsley Moy - Junior Freehold Twp - Ainsley looks to help keep Freehold as the #1 team in the Shore Conference as well as the top spot in the NJ.  Last season she finished second on the team with 18 goals and added 12 assists.  Moy is one of the top players in NJ and sometimes does not get the recognition due to the loaded midfield. I can see Moy making a statement this season and help move Freehold up the National Rankings. Abbey Olexa - Senior TRS - The West Virginia commit might be the most focused on players by opposing teams in the Shore.  She has the foot skills and power to beat a goalie anyway she wants.  She was my Freshman of the Year in 2019 fi
